Every Monday I will showcase something I’ve made based off of the Friday Palette. I hope you all will join in and tag Khaki and Chrome so I can see all of the awesome things you’ve made!
I decided to make a knit bandana out of the neutral colors from the palette. I used a sport weight yarn. It was yarn out of my stash, so unfortunately, I don’t have the brand name. I used a size 7 (4.5mm) needle. If you want to work with different yarn weights and needle sizes, the general rule of thumb is for the needle to be at least two sizes larger than the recommended size on the yarn information band.
CO 1 stitch
Row 1: K1fb in first stitch, then knit to end of the row
Repeat this pattern until piece measures 22′ on the diagonal from the first cast on stitch to the knitting needle
Tie the two ends in a square knot around your neck
Let me know if you have any questions about the project, I’ll be happy to answer them!
